Studies show that 1 in 6 adults have low literacy skills, and in all likelihood this understates the problem. Survivors with low literacy skills encounter barriers to accessing services and face difficult challenges when they do receive services. In many cases, it can be difficult to even tell when an adult has low literacy skills and knowing the signs can be very helpful as you work with these survivors. This webinar will explore barriers and provide concrete strategies for addressing them and improving the quality of services as well as provide adult literacy resources.
