Tech-Facilitated Intimate Partner Violence

Location: Action Alliance
1118 W. Main St.
Richmond, VA, 23220

Technology is a large component of intimate partner violence (IPV), both as an abuse and control tactic by abusers and as a safety and empowerment tool by survivors. Technology is also an integral component of agency operations. In addition to exploring the major forms of technology-based abuse and how they impact survivors, participants will review considerations for safety planning and best practices in tech safety for organizations. Participants should have a basic understanding of IPV prior to attending this training.
